SafeSpace gives anyone a way to set the terms for how their face, voice and digital identity may be used. Make X Media designed and built the product.
What it is
The SafeSpace Likeness License lets a person choose the terms for their likeness: non-commercial use, educational use, news and commentary, personal use, commercial use, remixes and adaptations, and whether AI cloning is allowed.
Each set of choices produces a signed, time-stamped PDF and a short licence code that can go in a bio, an email or a partnership discussion.
The Legal Companion
Beside the licence sits the Legal Companion, a searchable guide to the laws behind it, among them the GDPR, Right of Publicity law, Tennessee’s ELVIS Act and the EU AI Act.
It also explains each licence term in plain words, with a real example, who the term suits and when to think twice.
What MXM did
MXM designed and built the product: how a licence is put together, the signed document and code it produces, the Legal Companion and the website around them.
